Why it matters
Start with virtual. Book real when the yard earns it.
On a search results page every listing gets the same thumbnail slot, and a dusk exterior with warm windows against a deep blue sky is the one that stands out. For years that meant a second visit timed to sunset. It still can, but it usually should not: the Valley gives us a sky worth the trip maybe one evening in three, dusk color is unpredictable, and the evening slot costs the seller $200 and up.
Virtual twilight starts from the daytime exterior we already have, so the sky, the pool glow and the string lights are there every time, for $50. It is labeled as virtual in your gallery so it can be disclosed. A real twilight shoot is still the right call for a home with serious lighting, a lit pool, fire features, landscape up-lights or a view, where the buyer should see the property exactly as it looks at 8 pm.

Common questions
Real twilight or virtual twilight?
Virtual, for most listings. It is built from the daytime exterior we already shot, so the sky and the lights land every time, it is $50 for five photos instead of $200 or more for a real dusk shoot, and it is labeled as virtual in the gallery. Book real twilight when the yard has lighting worth showing exactly as it is; we will say so if the forecast is against you.
What is twilight real estate photography?
Exterior photos at dusk, when the sky is blue and the home is lit from inside. It is the most eye-catching hero image a listing can have, whether it is shot at dusk or built from a daytime frame.
Can I book a real twilight with my regular shoot?
Yes. We schedule the photo shoot for late afternoon so twilight follows straight on. Evening slots are reserved for twilight shoots.
Why does real twilight change price with the season?
The dusk window moves through the year, from short winter evenings to long summer ones, and so does demand for those slots. It starts at $200 added to a shoot and $285 on its own; the portal shows the price for your date.
What do I need to do for a real twilight?
Turn on every interior and exterior light, pool and spa lights included, and have them working before we arrive.
What if the weather is bad?
We will reschedule at no charge, or switch the order to a virtual twilight the same day. A cloudy or windy dusk is not worth photographing.
