Why Phoenix

Why Phoenix agents choose us

Phoenix is the largest and most architecturally mixed market in the Valley: 1920s bungalows in Willo and Coronado, mid-century ranches in Arcadia and Arcadia Lite, Tudor and Spanish revival along the North Central corridor, hillside view homes in Moon Valley and Lookout Mountain, new builds in Desert Ridge and Laveen, and high-rise condos downtown and along Central Avenue. One photography template does not fit all of that. We shoot a 1,400 square foot Encanto bungalow differently from a 5,000 square foot Biltmore estate, and both differently from a 22nd-floor unit on Central.

Phoenix listings also compete in the highest search volumes in Arizona. On Zillow and Redfin a Phoenix home sits next to dozens of similar homes in the same price band, so the first photo decides whether a buyer taps or scrolls. HDR exposures that hold the sky and the interior, true verticals, and a lead exterior shot taken at the right hour are not extras here; they are the baseline.

Pricing is the same in Phoenix as everywhere we shoot: photography from $165 by square footage, drone $100 added to a shoot, twilight from $200 by season, Zillow 3D from $110 and iGUIDE from $155, with a free 2D floor plan on every photo order and delivery the next business day. Book online in two minutes and the gallery is in your inbox the next morning, MLS-sized and ready for ARMLS.

Two Phoenix-specific details worth knowing. Much of central Phoenix sits inside Sky Harbor's controlled airspace, so we request LAANC authorization for drone work where it is needed and tell you before the shoot if a site cannot be flown that day. And historic-district homes are often best served by a twilight or virtual twilight exterior, because the architecture reads better in soft light than under a noon sun.

Shooting Phoenix

What we plan for on Phoenix listings

Architecture first

Arcadia mid-century ranches, Willo and Encanto bungalows and North Central Tudors are each shot to their style, not a one-size template.

Hillside and view homes

Moon Valley, Lookout Mountain and South Mountain foothills listings are about the view, so drone and twilight are usually worth it.

Urban condos

Downtown and Midtown high-rises get wide, bright interiors and the skyline where the unit has it; we arrange building access ahead of time.

Sky Harbor airspace

Central Phoenix sits in controlled airspace. We file LAANC authorization where needed and confirm before the shoot whether a site can be flown.

New builds and masterplans

Desert Ridge, Norterra and Laveen listings sell on the floor plan and the community, so an iGUIDE tour and a community aerial carry more weight than extra interiors.

Communities we serve in Phoenix

Central and historic: Arcadia, Arcadia Lite, Biltmore, North Central, Willo, Encanto, Coronado, F.Q. Story, Roosevelt Row and Garfield. North: Moon Valley, Desert Ridge, Norterra, Deer Valley, Tatum Ranch and the Cave Creek Road corridor. South and west: Ahwatukee Foothills, Laveen, Estrella, Maryvale and South Mountain. Downtown and Midtown condos, from the Central Avenue towers to the Roosevelt Row lofts, are shot with building access arranged in advance.

Historic homes benefit most from architectural lighting and twilight work. Hillside and view listings in Moon Valley, Lookout Mountain and the South Mountain foothills call for drone photography that establishes the view and the lot. New construction in Desert Ridge and Laveen is usually about the floor plan and the community, so an iGUIDE tour with measured plans and a community aerial earn their cost there.

We also photograph regularly in Desert Ridge and Deer Valley.

Frequently asked questions

How much does real estate photography cost in Phoenix?
From $165 for a standard home, priced by square footage, with a free 2D floor plan and next business day delivery. Drone is $100 added to a shoot, twilight from $200 by season, and Zillow 3D from $110. The full price list is on our pricing page.
Do you photograph historic homes in Phoenix?
Yes. Historic districts like Willo, Encanto and Coronado are shot to respect the architecture, and twilight suits them well.
Can you fly drone near downtown Phoenix?
Much of central Phoenix sits in Sky Harbor’s controlled airspace. We request authorization where it’s needed, and tell you before booking if a site can’t be flown.
How fast can you shoot a Phoenix listing?
Most Phoenix shoots are booked within one to two business days, and the edited gallery is delivered the next business day after the shoot. Same-week from booking to live listing is normal.
Do you shoot condos and high-rises in Phoenix?
Yes. Downtown, Midtown and Central Avenue towers are shot regularly. Tell us the building when you book so we can arrange access and parking in advance.
How many photos will I receive?
Around 25 to 40 for a standard home, and 50+ for larger properties over 4,500 sq ft. We shoot to the home rather than to a number, so upgrades and backyard living earn extra photos. You get every usable shot. For the listing itself, choose your strongest 25 to 40, lead with 15 that carry the home, and sequence them to walk through the floor plan.
Is the 2D floor plan really free?
Yes, with every photography order, no catch and no fine print. It is part of the standard service rather than an upsell.
Can I choose my photographer?
Yes. When you book online you can pick from the photographers available for your date, and if your first choice is booked we will show you the alternatives.
What if I need to reschedule?
Cancelling or rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours' notice. With less than 24 hours' notice, a $75 late cancellation or last-minute reschedule fee applies, and weather reschedules are always free.
How do I prepare the home for the shoot?
Clear counters, make beds, open blinds, turn on every light and move cars off the driveway. Our 48-hour prep guide walks through it room by room, and it is worth sharing with your sellers.
How do prices scale with property size?
Photography is priced by square footage, from $165 up to 1,300 sq ft to $275 up to 5,000 sq ft. Larger homes simply take a little more time on site. Drone, virtual twilight and virtual staging are flat rates; real twilight is priced by season.
What makes The Listing Bees different in Phoenix?
We photograph Phoenix regularly and know its communities, light and angles, we guarantee next business day delivery, and every service books from one team. The company was built by licensed real estate professionals, so we work to your listing timeline rather than ours.
