Anthem is a Del Webb master-planned community that opened in 1999 on the Interstate 17 corridor north of Phoenix, in unincorporated Maricopa County with a Phoenix address and Deer Valley schools. It sits at about 2,000 feet, noticeably cooler than central Phoenix, with Daisy Mountain and Gavilan Peak as the backdrop. The community is two markets. Anthem Country Club is guard-gated, with the Persimmon and Ironwood courses, both by Greg Nash, two clubhouses, and the larger and hillside homes. Anthem Parkside is the family side, built around the community park, the water park and the lake, with Pulte and Del Webb homes from the early 2000s and the gated Arroyo Grande enclave. Buyers are relocating families, out-of-state buyers who found Anthem online, and active adults who want the Country Club without a 55-plus restriction.
Anthem sells on the community, so the gallery includes it. Country Club homes get the fairway from the yard and from the air, the mountain behind the house, and a twilight when the lot faces the view. Parkside homes get the floor plan, the kitchen and the pool, plus a community aerial that shows how close the park, the lake and the schools are, because that is what a family relocating from out of state is comparing. A typical Anthem home runs 30 to 40 edited HDR photos; the larger Country Club homes run 50 and up.
Pricing is published and the same in every city: photography from $165 by square footage with a free 2D floor plan, drone $100 added to a shoot, twilight from $200 by season or virtual twilight at $50 for five, Zillow 3D from $110 and iGUIDE from $155. Two Anthem details. The Country Club gate is staffed, so we register with the listing agent's authorization before the shoot and the photographer arrives on time. And airspace: Anthem itself is largely clear of controlled airspace, while Deer Valley Airport's airspace covers north Phoenix to the south, so we check every address and file LAANC authorization where it is needed.
