Chandler has three kinds of homes that shine at dusk: the lakefront homes of Ocotillo, whose lights reflect in the water; the resort-style backyards of Fulton Ranch and the newer family communities; and the golf course homes of Sun Lakes. A twilight image gives each of them a hero shot that stands out in a search results grid full of midday exteriors.

Chandler homes that suit twilight

  • Ocotillo waterfront homes, where a lit house reflected in the lake is one of the strongest images a listing can have.
  • Pool homes in Fulton Ranch, Sun Groves and across Chandler, since a lit pool carries a dusk exterior.
  • Sun Lakes golf homes, where the fairway and the sky frame the house for 55+ buyers, many of them relocating.
  • Executive homes along the Price Road corridor with designed exterior lighting.

If a home has little exterior lighting and no pool or water, a virtual twilight, $50 for 5 photos, often gives most of the effect.

How the shoot works

Twilight is a dedicated visit timed to the dusk window. We start about 15 minutes before sunset and shoot through dusk, typically 20 to 30 minutes after the sun drops, covering the front exterior, the backyard and pool, and the lake or golf course where there is one. Booking photos and twilight on the same day? The photo shoot is scheduled for late afternoon so twilight follows straight on.

What to prepare

Turn on every light in the home, inside and out, including pool, spa and landscape lighting, and check they work. Open blinds facing the camera, move cars and bins, and have the pool clean and the water still.

Pricing and delivery

Twilight photography starts at $200 added to a photo shoot ($285 on its own), priced by season, delivered the next business morning. For Ocotillo lakefront and larger lots, twilight drone, priced by season, adds the lit home and the water from above. See twilight photography.

Frequently asked questions

Is twilight worth it on a standard Chandler home?

If it has a pool or good exterior lighting, often yes. If not, virtual twilight usually gives you the hero image for far less.

What if it's cloudy?

We reschedule at no charge.

Can you shoot Sun Lakes homes at twilight?

Yes, including golf course lots, where the course makes a beautiful backdrop.
